maggie gyllenhaal

I really can relate to some of maggie's features. Her chubby cheeks, droopy almond eyes, weird lips, awkward un-toned body and her oh-so-not-photogenic smile. She's no classic beauty but she's that rare, untypical, no-plastic-surgery hollywood beau and i so love her.

She's strangely cute, really sexy, very genuine, can be a little scruffy and most importantly, so laid back and low key. She's a goddess.

I didn't bring Maggie up just because of this wicked le smoking photo of her which i think is a cross between rockstar superficial and picture perfection. But, here i go again, hair obsessed. Now that my blonde days are over, i really want those curls she's banging! This is getting so unhealthy..

the big wish this xmas

Speaking of shoes and my minuscule feet, i ache soooooo badly for this vintage pair of Salvatore Ferragamo combat boots! No one knows how i feel about these boots. And i mean no one. This is true love.
BUT! Like any handsome bloke, there's a catch. It's a size bigger than my feet! Please help me! Can i really stuff fluff in there and learn to walk in it afterward? (Note: This is an actual question. I know i'm such a loser but you'll help me anyway right?)

If i nail this bad boy and you see me someday with them on, please be nice. Pretend you don't know what's going on down there and say hi!

p.s a very giggly post. Yes, the hyena sort.

Ahh, my heart aches for this..

The Sadie cork wedge sneakers by 80%20 in navy or black.

The Maria you know is all flip-flops, sneakers and flats. In fact, i am spotted in flats only occasionally and more rarely in heels. Been looking for a pair of shoes that wouldn't take my outfits down with it to become sloppy the way flip-flops and my trashed sneakers often do and i find heels too dressy for my casual weekends out.

This pair fits every criteria. Not too much because they're sneakers yet with the cork wedge, girly enough. I looooooooooove it. Getting them shipped in when some dollars drop by to stay.

Terribly lusting them! 80%20 is so genius, i swear.

on my wishlist

There's a reason why wishlists are called wish-lists. Wishes don't always come true. So i probably won't ever get this swell sweater dress by Alexander Wang but it certainly is up on my wishlist this year. But there's no way you can not pair that with wishing to shed at least 10kg before you have any courage at all to get into that.

Words count for little when it's about losing weight. Gees, so impossible.

i love you, Erin Wasson.

I'm head over heels in love with Erin Wasson and her style. What in the world.. It makes me want to hit my head with a racket just to quit obsessing about her. And i'm devastated that her collaboration with RVCA: Erin Wasson x RVCA that's launching Spring '09, is not only unavailable here, it also doesn't ship to most parts of Asia except Hong Kong if you're thinking of shopping online. Unless of course, it shows up in eBay? I don't know.
